Perfect Spring Skiing & Riding

Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010

This is the time of year that after you go skiing people ask you if you went to Hawaii because you came back so tan. You’ll be skiing corn snow also known as “hero snow” because when you are skiing it you feel like a hero. This snow is really second only to fresh powder. Then after a day of skiing in a light jacket or T-shirt, you recline out on Snow Beach and have a beer or few.

Now don’t let all the warm weather mislead you into thinking the snow is going fast.  As of today Kirkwood still has a 136-190 inch base. Heavenly just extended there closing date to April 25!

Don’t forget about snowmobiling where you get amazing views of Lake Tahoe from 9,000 feet! Just ask and we’ll set you up with a reservation and a discount. You can also book your snowbile ride along with your room at www.968ParkHotel.com.
